The hair is Bonded with Keratin before it is applied as an extension. 
 
Each individual bond is applied to your own hair with heat, producing a fused bond.
 
This is a very secure method and lasts around 3 months with correct care and maintenance.
Using Pre-bonded hair, with Keratin, each strand is applied to your own hair with a very small, coated (coloured) metal ring.
 
This forms a very secure flat bond.
 
This is an alternative to having any heat or glue applied to your own hair and lasts around 3 months with correct care and maintenance.
